View Full Version : Glock 23 Gen 4 trigger question
I have a new (about 400 rounds down the pipe) Glock 23 that the trigger is a little rough. I often shoot my son's MP9 and the comparison between the triggers is apples and oranges. Now I would say they both pull the same but the MP9 is smooth and the Glock is catchy I guess is the best way to put it. Anyway's my question is what can I do to smooth out the trigger action on the glock? Now I don't want to do a trigger job and go change the trigger pull but would like for it to be smooth similar or better then the MP9.
If you don’t want to do a trigger job you can take comfort in knowing your trigger will naturally smooth out at about 1500 rds.
You can see a few trigger components here http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=15
Well I did catch a video on youtube about a mild polish job on some trigger components that did not take that long that they proclaimed smoothed the trigger out but unsure of doing it myself even though it didn't look very difficult.
Pick up a copy of this book. http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=186&TERM=boo-
It will teach you everything you ever want to know about your Glock, inc trigger jobs.
