This Stag 8 has a much nice trigger pull than my Stag 3. So as i am cleaning it this afternoon, i noticed the hammer is different.

Those are the two types,......notchless & notched.

What is the difference between the two? Other than the notch of course

The notched hammer allows the install of a very small time telling device.
This then gives you Hammer Time.

The bottom picture is fuzzier so that probably makes it a softer trigger pull!

Wish guys :wavey:
wish or wise? :)
The notch is designed to be a fail safe in the event of disconnector failure where the hammer fails to remain cocked as the bolt returns to battery.
