Picked this up a few hours ago, I have not shot it yet but I think it will be great!

Everything just feels..... right. Why did I wait so long to grab a 1911?

With a member name like that, I would have thought this would be your first 1911. ;)

Quick question guys, will CLP or hoppes 9 hurt the finish? I can clean the outside with them right?

I have a loaded, which is close to the same gun, trading forward serrations for adj sights. Both are quality guns. Congrats on your purchase. CLP and hoppes are fine. Picked this up a few hours ago, I have not shot it yet but I think it will be great!

First box of ammo down the pipe! All groups where at 7 yrds.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27/spartan985/IMAG0342.jpg

Shoots better than I do but it is my first 1911 and .45, I'll get better.
The RO is smooth, trigger is amazing compared to a striker fired pistol, and the recoil doesnt seem anyworse than my M&P9c.

I'm not a fan of adjustable sights, but the rear sight wasn't that bad. I was surprised.

I like them. Can you CC the RO even though it has the adj sights ?

I handled 3 of them a few nights ago while at the range. They were priced a very reasonable $ 649.00

Gunner's and VZ's would also compliment the RO nicely. Congrats!

here's a pic from TOS, by someone that has a RO.

I shot my new Range Officer for the first time this past weekend. Only fired about 100 rounds (Federal Champion 230 grain) as it was -10 in Northeastern Minnesota. Gun fired flawlessly. I couldn't be more pleased. Here's a couple of the groups shot unsupported at 15 yds.
