Whats the mission of the pistol? How often do you plan to train with the laser in low light conditions? How much live fire training/dry house training do you do in low light conditions? Then I can help you plan out what your laser needs are.

It'll be used for general patrol as a police officer and part time SWAT. Possibly off duty also. I have diamond speed sights on it so I practice both. I know lasers are awesome tools since one gets tunnel vision on bad guy during a shooting. My only reluctance with lasers is when you hesitate if they don't come on right away. That happened to me with crimson trace a couple times. I shoot about twice a month, 50-150rds. I do dry fire and practice clearing my house, but not enough.

Training is about a third to half being low light. 2 out last 3 shootings at work have been low light conditions.

Best laser for law enforcement is the guide rod laser for the Gen 4 Glock thats about 3 to 4 months away. Engineers working on it right now, If you need a solution right now go with the UNIMAX red laser it is extremely rugged you can hang your surefire light right off the bottom of it. Easy to activate only comes on when you want it to. Or wait for the guide rod call Marshall he is our LE Trainer at 1-800 laser o3 toll free and get on the list to T&E the Gen 4s when they come out.

Marshall was out. Spoke to Shelly who said I would get an email in a couple months. Doesn't sound like they're doing T & E anymore for this product. I asked her and she said I would get an email in a few months when it's available. Maybe the T & E will start then?
