My Dan Wesson CBOB got a face lift

My CBOB has been a GREAT gun over the years. I left it with my dad for a bit as he was just getting into 1911s. He had some trouble with reassembly of the gun and put a nice scratch or two on the frame. I figured it was a good chance to get it refinished and wanted to try out bead blasting.

Thanks! I was really impressed. I have been looking into possibly selling the CBOB as part of safe cleaning sale..but now I'm not so sure.

VZgrips double diamnond black g10. I like them a lot. Used to have them on my Nighthawk but I thought the black would look good with the bead blasted finish-so I switched em up a bit.

Thanks for the kind words gents. I know I'll catch some flack for this, but I am getting ready to list this CBOB for sale. As I have started to do some more hunting, I have been purchasing more long guns that eat up safe space. As such, I have been focused on thinning the herd a bit to make space for things that are used more frequently.

I absolutely love this gun; however, I have several other commander 1911s that I love more. The hard part is figuring out what to priced these CBOBS at. Seem to be listed in the 12-1400 range online and Bud's has some for 1600+...WTF!?
