Only if you float me $6k. :wavey:
The Colt is pre-owned to it's a straight up sell with the owner. No layaway. George only lists them on his site.

That EE needs FCS.
No way. It needs a solid trigger. Not a flat trigger abomination. That would just flat out ruin it.

As much as I like that gun and as much as I like Chuck's work, there's no way in hell that I'd pay $4000 for that gun. Maybe $2500.
That EE needs FCS.
126th level of Hell for your sir, 127th level indeed for that comment!
Gonna be a wee bit warm but you deserve it, FCS
:wavey:
So it'll be like Cleveland, just warmer :animlol:

Different taste I suppose. I wouldn't buy it as I don't play golf, 80's series aside.

I'm sorry, but I personally, can not see ANY 1911, worth $5600 or $6800. A gun is worth what someone will pay for it. If you can find someone willing to pay that for a gun, then that's great, but personally, I just wouldn't do it.

I agree. About $3k is where I draw the line. There was a few more things I wanted to do to my Custom Shop Operator - but that was all I could see spending.

I'd like to see naked slide, sold trigger and darker wood grips. Then we would have a winner.

Same here. I cant see spending north of 3K OTD unless its a collectors piece.

See I'm the opposite, I don't see spending north of 3K and NOT shooting it, only to have it sit in a safe.
I had the pleasure of shooting a Gemini Custom .45 with a Damascus slide a couple of years ago. The build was close to $7000 . Was it worth it ? To the owner it was . I don't have that kind of disposable income, but if I did, I would like to have one. The gun was beautiful and shot great .

I love the Rodger's Colt. If only it was a series 70 and I had 4k to burn. I have a feeling a move like that might make me single again... Ha.
