View Full Version : Is this normal?
Just took my new G33 to the range for the first time today. After coming home I checked out fired brass (hopefully you can tell by the pic.) it looks like a small gouge on each side of the strike. Is this something I need to worry about, if so what is the remedy?
Looks good to go from here

The primer look like it has a little more pressure than a standard 40 or 9 but that is to be expected when shooting 357. If you notice primer perforation then there is a problem developing for sure.

Would you recommend I contact Glock? Thanks again!
Each load will develop a different pressure. The metal (flow) you see on the primer will differ from load to load, depending on pressure. Yes the primer you have in the pic looks like a lot of metal is flowing but not so much that this is an alarming situation.
