Question on G1 17 firing mechanism

My brother has a G1 17 that has not had the factory recall to rebuild the firing system. I discovered this after he complained it was getting harder to get a smooth trigger pull when firing. The striker is the 1 slot variety and all trigger links are black, with no parts numbers visible, and not polished. Is Glock still honoring the rebuild for Gen 1 pistols?

Not an issue. I take care of 'em on the back side
