Senator Frank Lautenberg is going to introduce legislation to limit gun mags to 10 rounds for law abiding citizens here in our no CCW Police State of NJ. Only criminals here in NJ can carry a Gun and have Mags over 10 rounds if he gets his way. It was on the news this morning. I bought a few 15 round mags today while I still can.

Lautenberg is a US senator and has nothing to do with state government. He can try to do that federally but not in NJ alone.

Exactly, and nobody in the house and senate really wants to get into this right now, except a few people. The measure will die, he is paying lip service to some groups..

Here is where they are currently copied from the NRA website. You should write your NJ State Assemblymen in your district to vote no on this bill:

Monday, February 14, 2011

Assembly Bill 3807, sponsored by Assemblyman Louis D. Greenwald (D-6) and Assemblyman Annette Quijano (D-20), has been introduced in the New Jersey Assembly. If passed, A3807 would reduce the maximum capacity of ammunition magazines to 10 rounds from 15. This legislation is an example of yet another attempt to restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens, while doing nothing to actually combat crime.

As of now the language for the bill has not been released and a hearing has not been scheduled, but the NRA will continue to update you on the status of the legislation as it progresses through the New Jersey General Assembly. So, please continue to check your e-mail and www.NRAILA.org for updates.
