What about Bob Miller?

What do you guys know and/or think of his work?
Looking at picking up lightly worked Springfield GI that he as tweaked a bit.

His work looks very good to me but I've never seen one in person.

Ive seen a couple in person and they were both very nice!

He isn't taking any work now so he can finish his schooling though.

I'd be happy with a pistol from his bench.

Everything I saw from him looked awesome. Him and Dave Erickson.

I know the gun you are talking about. Pretty good price. His work looks to be top notch.

If it is the guy that runs Miller Custom , his work is VERY nice. I almost bought a 9mm commander he built before I had my custom Guardian built. The only reason I did not buy it is because there were a couple of things I would have had to change on it and the asking price was already more than I paid for the Guardian built the way I wanted it .

C'mon Wade....fess up. You just wanted a gun with "Custom" on the side of it. :tongueout:

Was just lurking on his site. He does some nice work.

If you go to his "my work II" page, the commander I was looking at buying looks just like the one on his site that is about half way down the list. The one with the ball cuts on the top of the slide. It was very nice and shot fantastically. I did not like the fiber optic sight for a CCW and I am also not a fan of thin grips.

He does some nice stuff from what I've seen and read.

For those that don't know Bob had worked for LMT and RRA in the past.

I dig his style. Very clean. No frills, just all business. Seems pretty affordable too.

You just HAD to go there,.......? :faint:
I've seen one of Miller's first hand, looked DANG good.
However, I have very little 1911 experience compared to some of you guys.
I do know what to look for when inspecting a Fusion though!:whistling:

Miller's stuff does look good. I'd easily get something from him over the "other Bob".
