Nice to see another Californian on here, whered you get your ammo at?

Hello from San Diego:wavey:
I usually get my ammo from walmart. But I think I got that 250 pack at Big 5.
That's a small sample of my 9mm stockpile. I have 4 9's so I need to keep a fair amount stocked. I think I'm going to pick up a G26 later today.

Question for you, is that a Remington 700?

I can only assume its a .308, and if thats the case, how does it shoot?

You are correct! Its a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308, and with that horrible nightmare $400 paperweight of a scope, I can get 8/8 coldbore shots under 1MOA at 100..barely. For a rifle well capable of 800+, its a sad statistic.

Here is just a few of my guns. My reliable Senco SFN30 shoots a 15 gauge trim gun that takes out cabinets and trim with a breeze then my Porter Cable 18 gauge that knocks out paneling or soffit with out a problem and we canít forget my Senco SLP20XP 18 gauge 1 5/8Ē pin gun to knock out smaller trim then there is the Chipping Gun that takes out Mortar and tile. Then the G19 for backup and just a couple extra clips to be on the safe side. Itís the other guns that make me money he he.

I have had WAY less problems with "those cheap factory sights" than any
set of FO sights.

Dawson's
TruGlo TFO

The only FO sight I care for (and for me front-only - I prefer a plain rear sight) is the Hi-Viz overmolded (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/419cshenXPL._SS500_.jpg) one...

My two Glock 19's are shown here, with Heinie Slant Pro sights. My good friend , the superlative Shannon Jennings, set them up the way I like, KG coated in matte black, with stainless rods set into the fronts. The highly polished stainless insert is far, far brighter than the photo indicates. These pistols are, otherwise, box-stock, which is fine by me.

Its not my gun, but HK made a USP awhile back that had the match compensator. It was made popular by the movies "tomb raider". They are only for sale with the gun, but some sell them off of it and can be put on a usp, but i remember there being some kind of problem with putting them on a OEM USP.

Actually, they aren't "compensators" per say on the true USP Match pistols. They are only "weights" or on the HK forum called, "Match Weights" and the barrels have no porting....

Thanks,......I do as well. I may pick up a few Pearce extensions and give those a try as well.
This current set up feels better to me. My "pinky" can either be supported by the mag's base
plate, or can be tucked underneath. I actually shoot my G26 BETTER with the flush base plates. :dunno:

I like the streamlined look it gives your G30 vs. factory mags. I've been tempted to try the Pearce extensions on my G30 as well. I shoot better with the extensions on my G27, and use them exclusively after trying one in comparison with tucking my "pinkie" on my G27.
I'm actually only loading 9 per mag right now anyway on my G30, and love the look of yours; with more "push" with the G30 than "flip" like my G27, may work better for me while reducing weight and size for concealing.

yep that's the compact model. it has the same upper as the midsize (4inch barrel)-so it's the only mp cmpact model that doesn't have the "c" on the slide.

it's a great shooter, never jams, even with the corbon 165grn +p sierra jhp's i tried

I hate threads with images 3 times wider than they need to be!

If I posted pics as the same size and res my camera takes them at you guys would be scrolling for hours!

Thanks guys,.............

Just picked up the J-Point this week. Yes, this has the mount
that slides into the rear sight dovetail. I had a Burris Fast Fire II,
it held up very well. I would like to have this melted, but not willing
to permanently commit to this on this weapon. My plans are to move
this to a picatinny rail on my Mossberg if I do not like it on the G22.

How does the crayon hold up to heat from shooting? I'd think it would melt :dunno:

therealtwitch
11-15-2009, 23:17
it does ok depending on how fast you are shooting. if you dump say 2-3 mags in rapid succession then it tends to melt. easy to replace though. kind of a waste of time. but I was board one day and read the crayon thread and had to give it a try. I liked that it goes on super fast and can be removed just as fast if you don't like it. but it does make it very photogenic. I suggest it for pics if you plan on selling a glock, makes it easy to identify at a glance.

To make it fair, since Glock makes pistols; here is a picture of *most* of the pistols I own. There are 2 1911's and another M&P missing from the pics.

I would have too many pics to post of rifles and shotguns, but may do this some day.

Enjoy!

People use a white crayon to fill in the markings on Glocks etc.

That's where you are incorrect in your thinking. He has many models
of an alike gun. Think of it as a collection of Ford Mustangs, all have
their own personality and quirks.
