That is extreme grip... I love it!! Kudos on keeping front of the magwell intact! :thumbsup: I dont like the look when they remove and stipple all the way down. Glocks should not taper... Yours is the way I wanna do mine, except I like the finger grooves, and maybe have more taken out of the trigger guard, to ride lower in the hand (G20). Kick ASS grip!

Yeah I don't think I'm done yet. I still want to take a little outta the trigger guard and reduce the rear "hump". Thanks, it's pretty fun and real easy to do once you get the hang of it. I have practiced on mag bottoms and AR grips before I dove in and did a real gun.

I want to ship mine off... I practiced stippling on an axe and a keltec (turned out good) but I can't do what you have... I am contemplating doing the Arredondo +5 mag extension for my Glock, however. They are so reliable, I plan to buy more. For grips, I love Talon and will recommend them to anyone, but, I am a minimalist... :rofl:

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes it is a Coharie Arms Clone in 40SW which is Semi Auto. Accepts all HK parts and the receiver would also accept an NFA sear/trigger pack in the future.

It's a project for me going forward, but shoots great as is for the time being.

Make that 4 cents.

For me, a glock grip even without anything added is too much for me, which is why I filed off the finger grooves.

I've shot a few with the Hogue grip, way too thick for me. But hand size varies, so YMMV.

Very nice gun, but I would offer one bit of advice. get something to secure the gun a bit in the drawer. You do not want to open the drawer quickly one night and then have to fish around in the dark for a gun that went sliding and spinning. I made something out of a piece of foam.

nice 23 i just picked up a 23 rtf2, just wondering what is the point of the grip tape on the frame in front the trigger/slide release? are you a left handed shooter? at first it looked kinda photoshop'd, i know 1911 guys sometimes cover up their sn with photoshop but there's no serial there on mine... so whats up? sorry if im being a n00blet.

the backdrop was actually just an aluminum media center pc case i recently built. i used a nikon d40 with a 18-55 lens for the first 2 with a nikon sb400 compact flash with a diffuser and then same set up for the last but a macro lens. thanks for the amazing compliments!

Great stuff Tarowah, it looks to me your white balance is a little off, there's a bit of a maroon tint. I've built a few light boxes and used various lights, I've had it happen to me as well. But they are great shots none-the-less.

Thanks, I know its off a bit but it was one of my first shots in the box, I didnt (still dont) fully have a handle on all of the settings.

I am still trying to find good "daylight" bulbs for the light box, no one sells "daylight" bulbs in anything but CFLs around here though, I have since learned how to correct 95% of the white issues with Lightroom though.

Barely visible are the reliefs I've ground for my trigger finger--above and behind the trigger--and my top finger on the grip, at the bottom-rear of the trigger guard. It's quite comfortable now, and maybe I'll shoot it in one of the casual Thursday-nite Cactus League matches this week. With its modifications, I think I'll have to compete in Limited 15, but what the hell--trigger time is trigger time, right?!?!?! :embarassed:

Yep, Talons are great. Won't carry without them. Best part is, you can always peel them off if something goes wrong. Soldering iron isn't as forgiving...

Well, I did put in some practice. I stippled the grip on a P-11, and got more than a few nods for it.... :whistling: You should see the axe handle I did! :rofl:Still not confident enough to mar up my baby....

In a nutshell, no, I don't like it, but it's the only game in town for a
30SF if you want to be able to adjust the laser sight. Lasermax's guide
rod laser isn't adjustable and I can buy 3 of these for one of theirs. What
I don't like about it or the Lasermax is having a separate button of switch
to turn it on. 90 percent of self defense use lasts less than a few seconds.
You don't have time to fumble for a switch. CT's laser products are the
best. You can apply pressure or not and in doing so, turn the laser on or
off without any adustment of you grip or using the other hand. I can't
recommend the Laserlyte or the Lasermax for these reasons. It does do
a good job as far had hitting your target. (See target below)
For the reasons above, it now has a Glock Tactical Light on it and has
a place on my bedside table. My carry piece is my Glock m36.

I recently picked her up from the smith. Removed the front finger grooves, adjusted the back-strap, texture all around, rounded the trigger guard, high-grip modification, cerakote, and forward cocking serrations.

To tell you the truth, I haven't fired it yet. I won this gun at out local NRA banquet in March and haven't been to the range since then. It's a very well made gun though as I have disassembled it. Not bad for free though. I was wanting a longer slide 9mm anyway. My next one will probably be an OD G17 though. I can get the Homeland Security discount so it will only cost me 398.00. I think the Taurus listed fot like 613.00. It has the Novak night sights on it.
