I have a excellent condition factory built S&W lower minus the stock and buffer tube. It has been used to shoot about 500 rounds and has an excellent trigger. I am thinking about selling it but really don't know what I should ask. Any help would be appreciated.

Your average mid tier complete lower is approximately $285. Subtract $65 for a stock assembly from BCM http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/M4-Stock-Milspec-p/stock%20m4%20milspec%20black.htm
Plus, their shipping charges and the fact that your lower isn’t new.......... I’d ask $180 to $200
This is just free advice, not an offer.

Thank you sir.

I'd say less. Quality lowers go on sale all the time for ~$100. About $60 for a LPK. If you were asking $180 at a fun show I, personally, wouldn't even slow down. Around 150-160 I might take a second look.

But seriously, AR parts are so commodified these days it's not even worth trying to sell what you have. Just toss it in the safe and keep it around till you have the itch to build another AR. It's

Well, a New S&W lower is $135, LPK $65, so $200 for new. Used, knock off 20-25%, so about $150-$160.

I'd say even less.

A lower is a lower, and you can buy lowers a lot cheaper then $135. It's pretty easy to get a lower and LPK for $135.

You can ask $150-$160 for it, but I wouldn't pay more then $100 for used lower with LPK.

Like Bushflyr said, it's not worth selling it, just keep it in the gun safe until you are ready to build another.

Let's see. $90 lower + $60 LPK = $150. Take 30% off for being used. So, I'd give it about $105. Like vafish said, a lower is a lower. 99% of them out there work the same. People just pay extra for the rollmark.

Keep it, don't sell it.

You'll understand why when the next gun ban comes around and those
cheap lowers on the market today are selling for over a thousand dollars.

you may need it, you know it's a good one, i agree keep it
