View Full Version : Eotech 512 mounting on AR
I want to mount the Eotech 512 on a flat-top AR receiver, also running MBUIS sights, with absolute co-witness.
Can this be direct mounted, or will I need a riser.
Thanks

Just slap it directly on the upper and you'll be good.

Any riser on the 512 would give a low 1/3 co-witness.
what they said! i had a 512 and it was absolute just slapped on the rail!

Minimalist AR, I like it!
What is that light mount?

Mount directly and you are good to go.

Looks like a VTAC. That's what I run, it's a fine mount, cheap and light.

EOTech 512 mounted directly to receiver rail provides an absolute co-witness.

Thanks. I have 2 others more taticle. This 1 is a pass around gun. I don't even clean it. Just past 700 rounds. Do lube it though.
Direct - that's why EoTech is preferred by many - no stinking rings! Clamp it on and sight in.
