I was wondering if anyone owned a 945 or had experience shooting one of these pistols. Are they finicky about certain ammo.....will they feed hollowpoints? Any pros or cons to the pistol? I'm considering purchasing one in stainless steel with the 5" barrel.
Its one of the best pistols ever built, in my opinion. Its similar to a 1911, but with just enough differences to make it unique. Its also very well built and feeds any ammo you put through it.
In fact, the gun will even cycle empty cases.
The trigger is incredible.

I appreciate the info. Have any suggestions on where I might find the best price on a 945 like your's? My local dealer has one NIB for $1350.

I don't see the prices getting much better than that.
That seems like an incredible price for a new one.

I thought that was a decent price after checking around online.

Its better than decent. :)
Used models on Gunbroker sometimes go for more than that.
