I once caught two mice in a trap at the same time.

I have caught three rats in a trap at once. It was a live trap built like a maze. Once the critter got in far enough it would hit the trigger that closed the door. They must have all filed into the trap one behind the other.

I caught a mouse in a glue-type trap, and he in turn tried escaping and hopped around and got caught in an old-fashioned trap, too! That finally did him in.

I guess it wasn't his day.;g

We had a big problem with mice for a while at our work. We set out regular traps and glue traps.

One mouse had stuck to a glue trap and dragged himself over to a regular trap and that finally did him in.

I could just see the little guy dragging that glue trap saying to himself "Man, this is a rough morning. I wonder what else can go wrong?"

OK...something's wrong...

Why hasn't some liberal kicked in yet about why mouse traps are "just sooooooo inhumane"?

Are we being taunted into believing we can have a little fun?!?

Oh yeah? I can top that!!

12 gauge Rem M870, Mod choke tube, Highbrass #7 1/2 bird load and a tin pie plate full of birdseed, not far from a grain elevator.

I got 17 of the wormy little darlings with one shot at about 20 yards...you couldn't even see the pan for all the minirats before I let fly!

Only one escaped unscathed, and he ran toward my car thus precluding a second shot, so I vowed next time I'd use #9 shot!

But, then I wised up, and moved out here to beautiful SW Oregon from IA. Haven't seen any vermin out here yet, besides Kali transplant Liberals...and we milk them for their money, so they aren't entirely useless. They still cannot drive, however.

BTW, it was about 65 degrees with light overcast here today, the 30th of January. MMMMMMMM-HHHMMMMMM!!! A fellow could get used to this!

;a ;a

I'm going sluicing for nuggets this weekend, after the coyote hunt.

We'll be wearing short sleeves after 10 am or so...
