Well, I'll be needing some more Gold Dots soon and was wondering where you guys get yours. Ammunitiontogo has 50/$25 and 500/$245.

I'm looking for 9mm 124 +p

Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me depending on shipping costs... Local ranges around here want ~30 for a box of 20.

can't remember what i bought mine for, but i probably have less than 300rds left from the 2000rds that i originally had. i'd like to say when i bought them i paid $179-$199/500

Yea it didn't sound too bad to me either...local gunshows have them for $35/50 and the ONLY local gunshop around here sells them for $45/50!!! I'm really surprised there is only one shop that sells them around here. I wish I could get them locally!

I generally buy 500rds of FMJ range ammo a month from Ammo-to-go for my wife and myself, and we shoot most of it up. Every order I also toss in at least 2 boxes of Gold Dot JHP for whatever pistol caliber I think could use more ammunition. It's a good way to spread out the cost between target and SD ammo. Depending on my order, the extra 2 boxes of GD doesn't increase the shipping cost at all.

Well I get my target ammo from www.aimsurplus.com which is local to me. They have the best prices I've been able to find, and no shipping to boot. I picked up some PRVI 115g for 1000/$200. I still have plenty of that left, and next time I need some I'll probably go for the Federal American Eagle 115gr for 1000/$215.

They seem to be out of most of their ammo ATM, but I'd still check them out.

What is your average shipping cost?

This is the way to do it, otherwise your cost per round gets high when you factor in shipping.

I almost always buy my HP ammo from amm2go. I doubt you'll find a much better deal on a case of Gold Dots.

I wish they had them in 45acp, I need about 400 rounds to finish a test I have going.

After shipping, price per 50rd box is around $30 when you buy close to $100 worth of it. I've bought that ammo from him before and it came in good shape. He's a great guy to do business with.

I roll my own.
Got a deal on 124 GDHPs about 6 months ago and picked up a ton of it.
Costs me about 20 cents each with once shot brass.
