own any Remington Rand 1911's? If so, could you post some pics? I've seen them in your group pics, I was looking for some individual pictures.
Also, interested in the fair price range of these guns.
Thanks.
Sure.
Here's a couple pics. :)

Has that gun been refinished?
It looks too new for what it is.
That is my kind of 1911.

A reasonable value for an original Remington Rand USGI 1911A1 will be around $1000-$1500 depending on condition. I paid about $1200 for my 1944 RR.

It even came with a 1944 dated holster.

gotta tell ya bac. though you've a wonderful collection of 1911's from some of the best builders in the country, those shown are my fav's. just my style. i've got one each at colts custom shop and sacs. then i'm done for a while with newer 1911's. it's gonna be service models for awhile. i want a few real " i've seen the fightin'" pieces.
love the pic. always my fav.

thats real nice jr. i'm a big wwii history buff and that's my kind of 45. i'm having an original series 70 redone at colts now. it doesn't bite so i didn't go with a beavertail and left the spur hammer. i just think they look better that way. oddly, i've a 4in gi at sacs that did bite and had to change all that out. first 1911 i've ever owned that bit.
