Charles Daly 1911A1

What is the general consensus on the CD 1911. The one I am looking at is a used Superior model, blue slide over stainless frame. Imported by KBI made by Armscorp in the Philippines. Same guys who make Rock Island Armory 1911s. High fixed sights, extended slide release, skeleton hammer/trigger, beavertail safety. Looks real nice but I don't know much about them.

Edited to add...I know they are low end guns, but thinking of using it as a beater

I like mine. I've got the EFS.

They're built in the Philippines by Armscor.

I have a High Standard made by the same company. No complaints. No function problems that a new main spring didn't cure.

I am very fond of my Daly's. One of the nicest pistols built IMHO.
