You will need a standard rifle tube.

Thanks
What was confusing me the description says fits existing carbine extension tubes.

I tried searching this subject but not much has been posted. Must not be a lot of love for A1 stocks ??

I believe you're reading this bit:

SOCOM/M4 Carbine Buttstock collapses to save space or accommodate shooters wearing body armor. Replacement only—fits existing carbine extension tubes.

It's the collapsible stock that fits the car tube. Very poorly written description though. Brownells fail.

Yep, you need a rifle tube, rifle buffer, and rifle buffer spring.
