Anybody know a reliable place to buy this from, all the places I usually deal with are out of stock. I'm only interested in the 50rd "Duty Ammunition" boxes. Thanks.

I am asking for advice on reputable dealers that hopefully somebody has actually done business with, rather than just googling and finding a few dealers that I have never heard of before, hence the reason for my asking.

Thank you, you have been more than helpful.

Ammunition to go.com. they are the cheapest around, but you have to pay for shipping. Which with the weight of the ammo, might get expensive.

SGammo.com

Shipping is $12, but it arrives in 2 or 3 days. I use them all the time. Prices are decent too.

I try to keep a good supply of carry ammunition.
If you do find some reasonable buy all you can.

+1. He gets police overuns and passes the savings on. you might see 124 goldots for 22 for a box of 20, then the next in line is 500 for 244. got to keep checking back. i'm about to buy 10 50 rd boxes for 244, or 10 boxes of hst's for 324. i buy from nowhere else. if he ain't got it, chances are it ain't around.

I always check their first, but they don't have this particular round in the 50rd boxes in stock.

I buy a lot from sgammo. Never online as they make all the local gun shows and I stock up there. But they are great guys so I wouldn't hesitate to buy online.

+1 I've ordered some Gold Dot 9mm 124gr+P from him before. He's a great guy to deal with. Price is usually around $30 after shipping.

Yep, as stated already, SGammo. I've ordered with them twice (for the SGD 124gr. +P) and in a a few days it's at the door. Like the other guy said, $12.00 shipping. When I ordered 2 boxes, $12.00 shipping. When I ordered 4 boxes? $12.00 shipping so you minus well order up. My experience is A+ to this point.

Other vendors may off good service; however, I've done mail order business with this company with fast, excellent results. My last order was over 30lbs, still $12.00

I've ordered numerous times from SGAmmo.com and AmmoToGo and have had great service from both. Would not hesitate to do business with either of them. Have also done business with Hotpig here on forum and had good service as well.

SGAmmo, Ammo to Go, Midway USA and there are others, but those are the ones I use the most. I just got some Gold Dot 115 grain +P+ from them, tho Iíll swear I ordered 124 grain +P, in double checking everything, I see they donít even have the GD HP in 124 grain +P in stock right now.

In reading what people are saying about the 115 grain +P+, Iím fine with it. According to the Speer web site, the 115 +P+ has an advantage over the 124 +P out to 50 yards. Beyond 50 yards, they start to look a lot alike. See the specs here (http://le.atk.com/general/speerproducts/handgun/GoldDot.aspx).

Minimal difference in energy. I'd be more concerned with recoil and blast. But any Gold Dot is a good Gold Dot.

Well, the 115 grain +P+ is the hottest load Iíve shot out of my G17. Noticeably more recoil and report than from Winchester Ranger NATO 124 grain, which I believe is a +P round.

I've done business with SGammo, Ammuntiontogo, and Midway. Like others have stated, you can't go wrong with any of those places.
