spoke to cs at sa and they say the 1st of feb for my 4in gi. i can't wait. it will be the first customized pistol i've ever owned. i sent a hp to novaks about 10 yrs ago but that was mainly a reliability package. heinie strt 8's, hand checkered front strap, beavertail (it bit) action job, tool steel, deburr the internals, flat checkered mainspring (no ILS), throat and polish, fit and tune an extractor and a spare, lower and flare, and repark. i know i'm forgetting something. can't wait!

and my fellow GT'ers, i got a series 70 at the colt shop getting a little less done, checkered fs, standard bushing fitted in place of the collet, royal blue, new extractor, which was loose, flat checkered msh,fit and tune spare extractor and cut the detent in the slide stop. may get that one first. action job with 4lb trigger. feb's gonna be a good month. except for my wallet.

:rofl: ain't gonna happen. the force doesn't feel strong with you my brother. and colts, well, thats why i'm a colt man. 8 and i've never had a problem. did have a barrel link pin come loose, but that was an easy fix. you should let me voodoo you! i love to go to gg and hear about they're glocks that are the greatest because they never skip a beat, well neither do my 1911's. but i try not to say anything.

That doesn't sound healthy, so I'll pass :whistling:

GG is a trip, but I believe if a firearm hasn't had some type of failure it hasn't been used hard enough. Frequent issues are a whole other story.

Just my NSHO.
