All I can say is W O W !

Recoil is like a 9mm Glock. Sights are dead on. 200 rounds of 200-gr Gold Dots fired with 100% reliablity, followed by 50 rounds of light 200-gr reloads, again 100% reliability. I can hardly wait for the Gen4 G38 to be released. I'll post photos later this afternoon. I'm a happy gapper.:wavey:

I cant wait for the gen 4 G38 either, I lost my 3rd gen G38 to my wife.

A G37 is on my 'buy' list - have a 38 & 39. I don't read the gun mags so can someone give me an idea of why I should go for a gen4 vs. an earlier version.

dave - we'll pay more if it's worth it

The Gen4 has:

1. Dual recoil spring assembly
2. Enlarged and reversible mag catch
3. RTF3 grip finish
4. Modular add on back straps
5. Basic grip is SF--2mm shorter front to back.

They really do not know what they are missing. Last week I sold my 2003 Gen3 G37 to a fellow that had never heard of it. He liked it so much than he has bought a second used G37 and is looking for a 3rd for his father.

This sounds like what I experienced; last year I bought a G37 and liked it so much I bought a second one in OD!

Hey Danny, We just got a G4 G37 from the Glock Rep. for testing. It feels so nice. Balances well. I can hardly wait to shoot her. I have a G3 G37, wanna see how they compare. I will let you know the results.

G3 G37 vs. G4 G37- All I can say is Wow!!!!!!!!!! What a sweet pistol. I was hesitant, I had a issue G22 in 1997 that I did not get along with. I hated that Pistol. Couldn't shoot it for s#!t. I was Leary of the similar size frame of the G37. But that Gen4 frame is sweet!!!! The combo of caliber,slide and frame is wonderful for me. I was surprised I didn't mind the G3 G37 all that much. But G4 was much better! Now- how about that Gen4 G38!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my Gen4 G37. After shooting it, I find it hard to go back to my Gen3 G38. As soon as GLOCK comes out with a Gen4 G38, I'm there!

Picked up my Gen 4 G37 last week in a trade and took it out to the woods for a test run. The Glock ran 200gr FMJ while my 1911 used 230gr FMJ. Just a fun run of double-taps into ant hills and I have to say felt recoil in both was identical. This wasn't an accuracy test, that will come later along with pics.
