Remington R1 dimensions/specs

I figure this has been discussed but I can't find it - maybe I'm using the wrong search terms.

Anyhow, is there a difference in some dimension of the Remington R1 that causes the slide stop and thumb safety to extend past the edge of the frame and does it matter with regard to the fitting of any other parts?

that area is over cut and you can also tell be the gap between the top of the trigger shoe and the frame, but functionally it's the same as a Series 80 1911.
