I have the TLR-1 on my Glock 19 but mine doesn't have the strobe feature. Great flashlight nonetheless.

I got mine from Express Police Supply for the same price. I love the strobe feature and the fact that it is LED. I ordered a IWB Comp Tac Ctac light bearing holster for it. I love the set-up cause if I need the light I have it at all times. I want to try the Surefire X300 on my Springfield Armory Loaded Operator with full length rail. I will probably get the same holster for that set-up as well.

TLR-1s has been on my duty gun for almost a year. "Tacticool" strobe disabled.

It's a solid light that has held up very well.

I got the TLR-1s a few months ago, I'm impressed needless to say. I put it in my range bag and the button must have got switched on, I took it out the next morning and the light was very dim but still on! I got a few more batteries from optics planet, I'll make sure not to do that again haha.

Extra batteries!

I bought 2 of these lights. During testing I accidentally pointed one at a wall mirror . . . had spots before my eyes for about 20 minutes. These lights are BRIGHT!

I own both. Don't get me wrong, the X300 is awesome, but for the price, the TLR-1s is hard to beat.

The main difference for me is the fact that the X300 can be activated momentarily by pushing in on the toggle switch, whereas the TLR must be rocked. The X300 works better for me on an AR because of this additional feature. For a pistol I am comfortable with either one.

Love mine! Shot it with the light on the gun and now this GSR/possible muzzle flash burn is on the top. Anyone know how to clean that off?

I don't think the strobe is for "coolness". It's to disorient your assailant, and not pinpoint you as a target.

Hoppe's No. 9 Solvent took it off my TLR-1s in an instant!

Hey everyone when you leave batteries in these lights. Do the batteries get drain out ?

No.

Never had a problem with the batteries going dead. Opening the battery door on these lights is not much fun any way. I say if the battery is working, leave it alone.

I bought one used on arfcom and I love it. I found the 1913 rail adapter doesnt work on the G19, you have to use the "GL" marked one. DUH i say to myself! Its my one and only mounted light and I put it on my P220, G19, and 92FS (with streamlight adapter rail).

Plus its made in Eagleville PA. I cant speak highly enough about streamlight. I broke one lens and got water in my sidewinder, they fixed it for free! I love them!

You can avoid this by taping over the light before going to the range, masking tape or blue painters tape works well.

I wasn't sure about the strobe feature but got it any way. It really doesn't get in the way.

Easy on/off and the Glock key fits my M&P and SIG too.

I bought it intending to put it on the G19, but didnt like how far in front of the muzzle it stuck out so it sits on the beretta 90-two now.

I have an Insight M6X light laser combo on my G29 and an X300 with CT LG on my G30. I think unless you are in a SWAT or combat situation the Surefires may be overkill, especially the much higher price. I love them but they are pricey. The Insight products are excellent but still more money that the Streamlights.

I think the Streamlight lights are the best VALUE given their reasonable price and great features, not to mention made in the USA and Streamlight's great CS.

I can't bring myself to buy the Chinese lights, even though some of them seem excellent. I'm a Made in the USA kind of guy. When I bought my Glocks, I didn't know about S&W M&P line or I probably would have bought them.

I have a Remington 870 and a Kimber all made in the U.S. of A. as well

I have a TLR-2 with laser on a G21sf to back up my Mossberg - I was zeroing it in and managed to screw one adjustment all the way into the light assembly where it dropped in with no chance of getting it out (please don't ask how I managed that  ).
I called and found these lights carry a LIFETIME GUARANTEE - sent it to them and they replaced the lower section completely.
I'm sold on Streamlight.

Not all lights are LIFETIME GUARANTEE. The Sidewinder does not have a lifetime guarentee. BUT mine went dim and streamlight fixed it anyway!

I will never buy any weapon light other than streamlight (civilian use).

Me like. Thats my next Glock.

ETA: I got the tlr1s about a month ago and it is on my G21SF. I like it better than the light I had. (came with
my XD40). What I like about the Surefires is you can set it and when you hit the switch all programed options are on. Don't like having to toggle the lever to activate the strobe. The price is right though.

Evidently they were offering free shipping when the sale first started.
