I'm looking to purchase a light that is compatible with my G19's rails. I've never delved into the subject before, so I could really use some ideas on what to get. Thanks.

LIGHTS:

- SureFire X300 - "Best"
- Insight WX150 - "Better"
- Streamlight TLR-1 C4 - "Good"

Any of the above-mentioned weapon lights will impress you. Any of them are capable of lighting an entire room. I consider the X300 to be the absolute best, with the WX150 running a very close second (at $100.00 less!). The TLR-1 C4 is less "hardened" than the other two lights, but is nonetheless a very nice weapon light and the best bang-for-the-buck at under $100.00!

RAIL-MOUNTED LASERS:

- LaserMax Uni-Max and Uni-Green
- Viridian
- Various Others

LASER/LIGHT COMBOS:

- SureFire X400
- Viridian Series
- Streamlight TLR-2
- Various Others

PICS ATTACHED:

My wife's G19 is set up with a SureFire X200B weapon light (succeeded by the SureFire X300) and a LaserMax internal guide rod laser. Both light and laser have proved to be first-rate in every respect! See pic below...

I purchased an Insight XTI Procyon because my SureFire X200A would not mount beneath my LaserMax Uni-Green, rail-mounted laser. The XTI Procyon (succeeded by the Insight WX150) fits nicely, and it easily gives the SureFire a run for its money, performance-wise! See pic below...

Surefire X300 is my favorite weapon mounted light at the moment. Although pricier than others, it's quality is A+.

I just installed a Streamlight TLR 3 on my G19. Love it. Here's a link:

Insight Technology makes a nice light the M3X now an LED 150 lumens and waterproof to 66 feet if you need that.

The M6X is their light laser combo. I have one and no issues. Pricewise this stuff falls between Surefire and Streamlight.

Insight makes a huge number of Infrared sights and other gear for the DOD.

Any of them would be a great choice.
