Gen 4 backstrap pin

A friend of mine has a chance to pick up a used Gen 4 G17 but it's missing the additional backstraps and BOTH factory pins, the short and the long one. Will a Gen3 pin work if it's filed to size, since the Gen3 would be considered a medium length? Is the diameter the same?

Yes you could probably file a Gen 3 trigger housing pin to size but I would just order a new one. They are not expensive :whistling:

Gen 4 "short" trigger housing pin is the same part # as the G36 trigger housing pin.
