Looking for a G23C or G23 Gen4

I have decided to change my carry weapon from my G19 to a G23C or G23 Gen4. To accomplish this, I would like to do an even trade for my 4 month old, LNIB Sig P226 9mm, with all accessories.

My first choice for a trade would be the G23 Gen4.

Opinions regarding shooting a "C" model at night vary. Some peeps say the flash is not significant, while others say you loose your vision for a second or two. If so, that is the wrong choice for HD or Carry. :dunno:

One thing I learned in Army Aviation it takes your eyes 45 min to adjust back to darkness. I have had over 10 people talk me out of the C models.

My "newbie" status is comig out - your weapons, what are "Gills"

The eye adjustment thing is a concern. But, I have been told that the flash from a revolver is much greater than that of a C model. I wish I could try firing a C Model at night so that I could draw my own conclusion, but I can't get my mitts on one - bummer.
