I am new to Glock, but have been shooting semis for some years.
I don't mind taking an engine apart, but have reservations about complete teardown of Glock without guidance.

I did a download of a 42 page doc that says "Armorer's Manual Glock Safe Action Pistols" on the cover. Naturally I don't remember where it came from.

Is this likely to be an old version of the real thing?

I have been able to find everything it contains in one place or another, but like the idea of using actual Glock info.

Yes, the versions usually available for free download are older versions. The Glocks are fairly simple compared to other handguns. I don't think much has changed and what has you can see it. The part numbers won't be up to date but the names of the parts should be the same.
