hello. i am in the market for my first AR and have no experience. ive only onwned glocks, shotguns and my browning 7mag.

i want to get a good one but not blow enough money to make my wife kick me out of the house.

i just dont wanna spend the money and then find out that i bought a p.o.s. if you know what i mean.

im interested in just the basic build for now and i can add all the extras later.

can anyone give me any helpful info, brands to look for/ stay away from, links and maybe point me to any used/new sales please?

any help appreciated since this is a total new platform for me.

I am a manufacturer and should not talk about brands here but, look at the middle of the pack. Armalite or LMT would be a better grade using 4150 alloy barrels and has some good deals going.
As a consumer I would rather deal with CDNN than Buds....by a long shot
