I posted this in GATE, but wanted to get some quicker inputs from anyone who uses the Uni Max Micro. I would like to buy one and can use my MIL discount and get it for $103. I read some reviews and it looks like with .45 ACP it tends to losen the attaching screws (only negative review). This will be for my G19. Any feedback and inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I almost bought one of these back when Impact Guns had them on sale for $95. I wanted a laser to put on my G19 but I wanted one that took the least amount of space possible. I ended up not getting it though because, at the time, I needed a lot more practice with my normal sights. I remember asking then (~2 months ago) if anyone had used it and I don't think anyone had one back then. Hopefully someone has bought one by now and can report how it functions. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply GaleForce. I think I might just have to go ahead and get one and post a review. For the price I dont think I can go wrong plus I hear a lot of good things about Lasermax. Wish me luck!

I participated in that discussion as well when I was considering buying the laser. No one bought it then so there's still no review here.

Thanks for all the replies! I'm more than likely going to buy it at $103 thats a good price for me. I never used a laser before and this will be for range/nightstand gun (G19). I will post a review as soon as I receive it and test fire it.

I have lasers on 8 guns. LaserMax internal, Crimson Trace and UniMax.

In my opinion, buy a LaserMax internal if it's available for your gun. And it is for your (and mine) G19.

In 15 minutes, the Dvor division of OpticsPlanet will release their special deals for today and one of them is "LaserMax Laser Sights for Your Glock." Don't know which models will be included: http://www.dvor.com/s/5ofp5h.html (http://www.dvor.com/s/5ofp5h.html) .

I ordered it last night and it should be here sometime next week. I will post a review as soon as I hit the range. I'm glad I've been stocking up on 9mm ammo that will come in handy when zeroing in the laser. Thanks for all the replies!

You said that you wanted to carry this on your gun for concealed carry; what holster will you use?

Rick

I just look through my sights which are sighted in and make the spot go to the same location as the sights are pointing, no ammo needed. If your laser is somewhere besides where your sights are, you need to change your sights. Yes, even on a fixed sight gun. Drift the rear left or right and you can change out the front sight if you need a taller one or file it down. Your laser and sights should cowitness.

Not for carry it will go on my 19 which I keep in my nightstand and is also my main range plinker. Havent thought about about a holster for it.

Once you start using a laser and you will like it you will want to carry one. Will be curious about your micro and battery life. I was at the range with a buddy who bought a S&W Sigma and it came with a cheap laser. The batteries lasted less than an hour of range time. The Crimson Trace are suppose to last 4 hours of on time and with the pressure switch, 4 hours is a long time.

Please post pics when you get it. I've been waiting forever to see a picture of the micro on a G19 or any Glock.

Picture is up and it fits perfectly. I used a little thread locker on the screw when I attached it (just in case). I like that its all black without big Lasermax lettering on the sides this suits my taste better. Now I have to find a holster for it just in case I want to carry it. Optics Planet has them for $107 shipped after you use a 5% off coupon if you decide to order or if you are MIL/LEO you can scan/fax credentials to Lasermax and get it for $103 + shipping. Hope this helps!
