17 Extraction Question

I have a Gen 4 G17 with a non-milled slide and an 0-2-1 recoil spring.

I have had erratic extraction problems, resulting in brass all over the place. I have some that barely make it out of the chamber, some that fly straight up, some that hit me in the face, and some that just never make it out at all. I get it will all sorts of ammo, but the worst with WWB.

When I called glock (and after they confirmed I had the non-milled slide and the 0-2-1 spring) they offered to send the gun back to them, or they would ship a new extractor to my dealer.

Will an extractor fix it, or should I send it in?

Just send it back to them, to have them check it out and be done with it.

WWB, and PMC Bronze ammo has been very week in my guns. It is strictly plinking ammo. CCI and Federal seem to do a nice job. I can't remember the exact numbers, but I couldn't make USPSA minor power in my G-19 with the PMC or WWB.
