Started here. Looked like it had been stored in a tool box.

Then it looked like this and I wasnt happy with the tan. Felt like it should be taken on Safari.

I wanted to go another direction this time and I like it.

The third time was certainly the charm.

...you do need matching grips though. I'll take the black over the snakeskin pattern. ;)

Should've gone with it, everyone knows a .45 will blow the ass out of a rhino at 300 yards. :supergrin: :whistling:

The first picture looked like it just needed some oil rubbed on the finish.

The other side of the slide had scraps all over it like it layed on a brilo pad and tack nails for a couple of years.
