I don't know of an 8 round mag. But there is a sig made extension that adds an extra round. I can't find any in stock. Link

I had one in 40S&W years ago and it was outstanding.

I wish I still had it. :crying:

What you have is enough for 1911 shooters and 100 years why do you need more rds. The 7 shot 1911 and one in the pipe is the same as you have in the 40cal 239 . I,m not a forty fan and use a 239 9mm for ccw.

:agree:

My 239 in 9mm is one of my carry weapons, and I'm not a mag capacity fanatic either since I always carry two extra mags. Some folks forget that a mag might go south, and they're SOL with no spare.

The extra round extension should also make insertion of reload more positive. I find shape of baseplate makes it easy to fail to get stock mag to "click in" when in a hurry or under stress. When I get some extensions I plan to only use for reloads.
