Congrats!!

I have never shot a FNP, in any caliber. Similar to a Sig?

14rd? must be a .40. i have 2 fnp-9's. run them in ipsc. absolutely love them. giving one to my dad as his HD gun. never shot any poly sigs so i cant compare. they definitely dont feel like a all metal sig. to me they feel like a poly 1911.

the FN is a few ounces lighter but is dimensionally close to the P229:
Sig height:5.4"
FN height: 5.4"

Sig length: 7.1"
FN height: 7.4""

Sig barrel length: 3.8
FN Barrel length: 4.0

The safety/decock lever is very different. The Sig P229 is a decock lever only whereas the FN is a safety/decock - you can put the safety on with the hammer back and carry it "cocked and locked" or if you press down on the lever after taking the safety off, it will decock the hammer. Then of course after the hammer is lowered, you can carry it hammer down, safety off or safety on

14rd? must be a .40

:dunno::okie: It's an FNP357.......a 357sig- although, if I wanna go slummin', I can buy a .40 barrel for it for $150 or soo...

The grips on this pistol are amazing.... almost feels like you couldn't drop this pistol if you wanted to!! And the safety/decock is in the perfect spot. Will post a range report when I get it out!

Sounds like the safety on my old USP. Let us know how it shoots.

Did manage to get 50 rounds thu it while doing some other shooting. I do love the grips, and the location of the safety is great!! with so few rounds, I am still getting a feel for the trigger and sights. It did group very well but POI was slightly off POA. I was using CCI Lawman and it functioned perfectly. Need to get more trigger time to really judge but... I WANT MORE trigger time with this one!!!

Trigger time is always a good thing, especially in 357sig!
