Laser for Grip or under Slide ?

I am considering a Laser Light (no flashlight) for my Home Defense G19. There are many choices, and many differing opinions. The Laser contained within the Grips or attached under the Slide seem the most practical to me at this juncture. The idea of the Laser being directly under the barrel is my first choice.
