Just bored and starting conversation. Local shop has both. Wich would you choose, Springer EMP , or STI Guardian ??

I own an EMP in both calibers, probably one of the best choices for a micro-sized 1911. IMO.

I'd say EMP, but I like the Guardian too. I'd probably go Escort over the Guardian. LOT lighter.

I would go with the EMP also. I would love to see SW come out with a 1911 Sub Compact 9mm but that's just me

I can't speak for the STI but I do have an EMP 9mm and it is a great piece. Its probably not worth what I paid for it, but a very nice micro 1911 none the less.

Just locked up a deal for a Springer EMP in 9mm today. :supergrin:
500 rounds fired, 2 years old, excellent condition, hope to pick it up this week
