Certainly interesting. Only left hand 1911 I ever heard of before this was made by Randall.

Im left handed thats the reason i carry a glock over my 1911s. You have to be crazy to pay 4k+ for a 1911 im sorry but for that i could buy 8 glocks.

If I ever wanted a 1911 again, I'll just buy a regular one w/ ambi safety (about the only control that bothers me if not ambi or left handed)

There are lots of 1911s that are worth well over 4K. The comments of I could by XX number of glocks is silly. You would just have that many cheap plastic guns. When you buy a high end 1911 you want quality, craftsmanship, and expect a whole new level of gun that the glock does not even compare to.

Yeah, but you would have 8 cheap plastic guns! Imagine what you could do with all those!

I know a guy who would dump 10 Glocks for a nice 1911.

Yeah, but there are a lot of people who like a drawer full of cheap plastic.

True, but that gun on GB is NOT of that kind of quality. Safari makes a decent 1911, at best. They might make 4 1911's that, combined, MIGHT fetch $4000.

$4300, I would buy a Wilson or a Nighthawk and have money left over for the plastic stuff :whistling:

I wasnt referencing that particular gun, just the statement of "I could buy x amount of glocks for that money."

I could buy three cobalts for the price of a corvette too, but they dont quite compare.

Wasn't a jab at you. I agree with your statement 100%. I was making a jab on the listed gun. That price is ridiculous for that gun.

Who would spend that kind of money on a design that celebrated it's 100th birthday yesterday? Jeez.

I will see your 8 Tupperware guns and raise you 16 Hi-Points. :tongueout:

I'm left handed, and have shot and qualified with right hand pistols for over 30 years. A left handed structured 1911 would just feel alien to me.

The only firearm I'd consider in left hand would be a bolt action rifle. My right hand models are awkward to shoot.

My only thought is how many of these Bac must own.
