Only a fool will pay that for that gun. Either that, or it will sit.

Out of curiosity what is one of those worth? I take it they are not made anymore?

I may have to get a TRP....and send it back to SACS to knock off those points for my delicate hands.

You'd definately like it when it got back. I can assure you of that. But it'd still have that 20LPI frontstrap checkering to deal with, which I personally love, but maybe you could wear gloves. :tongueout:

On a side note, the mag holders aren't bad but the gun holsters SA makes that comes with their guns now are lame and are like buying extra fur for a really hairy dog or picture of snow for an eskimo

I've never used any of my SA holsters or mag holders on my TRP, XD45, XDm9 or XDm40. Cheap crap IMO. The mag holders would be ok for range work I guess.

$1800 for a 1911 with MIM? Just who do they think they are? Kimber? Guess those DWs aren't looking so pricey.

Why not? They put mim parts in the pro and that doesn't stop anyone. (actually that includes me if I found a Quack deal)

There is a difference in MIM and Quality MIM. I would Expect Springer's MIM is more top notch than Kimber.

Exactly...

$1500 for a TRP with MIM, but hell will freeze over before I pay $1500 for a DW SS Valor w/ all tool steel internals. Love that mind set...

The trp op full rail bbl is the new sacs pro. Three on GB and all can be had for around 1850-ish. Something's in the air, I can taste it.
