Is there anyway to lighten the pressure needed to depress the grip safety on a new 1911. Mine seems to be on the stiff side and it is affecting my accuracy, causing me to shoot low.
The way I naturally hold a 1911, two handed, there seems to be a void where the grip safety bump is, and it seems to take much more effort to depress it when shooting. When I pull the trigger it actually pulls the safety into my hand slightly to fully engage it, and the shot breaks low.
The other 1911's I have shot had much easier depressing grip safeties and I shot them fine. I dont want to change my grip since I am very accurate with my Glock and Beretta, so if there is a way to lighten one up please let me know.
Thanks.
