View Full Version : Stainless is pretty
Here are a couple pics of my two stainless 1911s that I recently acquired. You gys have seen them separately, but never together.
My Mitchell Arms Gold Series '95 and the SHADOW 45ACP
If some of you are wondering about the performance of the Mitchell Arms model, I will say that it is one of the most accurate 1911s I have ever put in my hands. The trigger as really smooth and light. Recoil was very tame and the accuracy was dead on.
I need sunglasses to even look at the pic on my IPad. Flashy fo sho
Those are very nice!
The top gun does it for me.
They look great, James.
I plan on picking up a Mitchell at some point. :)
Stainless is pretty when it's polished. It looks good when it's matt too.
It is easy to change by simply polishing or Glass Bead Blasting.
Durable as anything out there today as far as finishes go.
I like both of yours. The accented with black looks good, and of course the straight up stainless has that "Nickle" look without the problems associated with plated guns.
