I rarely peruse the General Glocking forums for a couple of reasons:

1) Don't like Glocks, won't own Glocks, don't really care what people are doing with theirs.

2) The Kool-Aid seems to flow in almost a Class 5 rapids fashion there. I especially enjoy the folks who criticize people for not owning Glocks and insinuate that if you don't, you shouldn't be a member of this site.

This area seems a bit more under control. I still dont understand why the discription of 1911s forum has toinclude hate them. ? Why cant it just say discuss and understand 1911s ? Why do people have to be welcomed to hate 1911s in this area. Could you imagine general glocking as the area for people that hate glocks to laugh at the crappy cheap design as a forum description ?

I see very few people hating the 1911 in here. Just guys having fun and poking fun at each other. I like it here instead of the GG becuase those in here know about the platform and their sense of humor entertains me.

In the GG section, too many guys only know, or think they know, about Glocks. I only post there to give a congrats, welcome, or engage in some of the pissing matches.
