Thanks for your class; I'm still transcribing notes. A question from a different angle:

As a trainer and expert witness, what questions do you think people ought to be asking, but aren't, to prepare themselves for a lethal fight and its aftermath?

You were an asset to the class, Sam, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

To answer your question, one thing people need to be asking themselves is, "How am I going to handle this once the last shot has been fired?"

All of us here at Glock Talk shake our heads sadly when someone says, "Aw, I don't need a gun. I'll worry about that if I ever get attacked, OK?" We know, of course, that by then it will be far too late.

It flat AMAZES me how many people who've recognized reality, and keep or carry self-defense guns, will say, "Aw, I don't have to think about aftermath issues. I'll worry about that if I ever get in a shooting, OK?"

Same sad game of denial, just another level up in the game.

Thanks for writing,

Thanks. I plan on working that into my presentations, with full attribution.
