It's nice, but it also hacks me off due to a bad memory. I got screwed outta' one by my local GS. Had it layed away and they sold it w'out telling me. Reason I was going to buy it was it was a blued carbon steel Trophy Match. Haven't seen another.

Yeah, I thought I had one. Had it all but paid for and the salesman shows me a rare 27-1 S&W on consignment. Says I could divert some $ from the TM. I bought the Smith, and two weeks later returned to pay off the TM and its gone. :steamed:

I found a lnib blued TM but the guy wanted $900! He knew the new ones are just a bit more but presumed a true SA TM fan would pay a premium for blued. I passed but hope someone snagged it.

I was paying around $930 OTD for the new one I got screwed out of IIRC. About two years ago.

Definitely. That 27-1 they consignment-sold me is likely the last of my money they will get. The kicker is I had been in and out of their range several times inbetween - not a word about "my" layaway.
