Chief of Police or Sheriff?

I have my form 1 to register one of my AR lowers as an SBR but i need to know if it matters which CLEO I get to sign off on them. I would prefer to use the Chief of Police but everyone that i know that has applied for a stamp used the Sheriff. Also since the Chief of Police is my Father would that cause me any problems.

You should be able to use either.
