At first I had accuracy issues with my MK9 and didn't like it. After working those out I installed Crimson Trace grips (my first pair) and now I love this pistol. It never leaves my side (when it's legal of course). I think I'm going to have to sell my Glock 26 because it never sees range time anymore. I thought I'd share a few photos.

I've got several other firearm photos here (http://www.photoshop.com/users/photoman12001/albums/beab67592dd64153bbf497c3d339b558) including some comparing the MK9 to a S&W J-frame, SIG P238, SIG P239 and Glock 26.

Great looking photos and gun Photoman! I have a PM9 with crimson trace laser on the trigger guard and love it also.

It's very accurate. Funny thing I have a G26 also and was thinking about getting rid of it too.

Enjoy! Charlie.

How is the recoil on the MK9? I'd be more interested in one if it weren't a bit small for my hands. However, I do passionately love my K9!

It is very manageable. It sort of toggles back into your thumb, so I usually put a bandaid where the blister will appear after 50 rounds. I talked to a guy who compared his MK9 to his Walther PPK and he said the PPK kicked worse since it pushed straight back into the shooter.

Yeah, you'd have to try it and see. My hands are medium sized and it was a leap of faith to let that pinky finger dangle off into space the first time I shot it. I can't imagine what it would be like for somebody with big mitts.

Recoil is very manageable. I would say it's similar to my SIG P238, P239 and Glock 26. I think the Kel Tec P3AT has worse recoil. I hated shooting that thing. Given it's small size, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the MK9 is to shoot.

The pocket holster tends to make your pants look like you are carrying a brick and tends to completely pull your pants down (and you were worried about printing).
So, I got a DeSantis Inner Peace. Mine is a left hand holster to be worn as a small of the back holster. It disappears very nicely with a loosely worn shirt.

And, finally, the obligatory G26 comparison picture.

Thickness is where the MK9 really has the G26 beaten.

I do like the way the laser attaches to the MK9. Much smoother than the PM9 solution.
But I'll keep my PM9.
Thanks for the pics.
