I just picked up a 100 round box of .40s&w fmj from the local walmart and was looking at the box when he was ringing me up and discovered it was 165gr.

I thought it used to be 180....when did this happen?

I went to Wal-Mart today and purchased the same 100 round box of 180gr WWB in .40 for a range session tomorrow. It's sitting on the floor right now next to my range bag. Thanks for pointing this out... it reads, "165 GR. Full Metal Jacket"! http://seapup.com/Web_Tools/doh.GIF :brickwall:

Its always been 165gr in the 100rd value pack boxes. The 50rd boxes are 180gr but cost you a bit more.

Afraid you won't hit that target hard enough, or can you really FEEL the 10% lighter bullet?

Don't mean to sound confrontive, but if MY Walmart had the 165 and it was cheaper, I wouldn't care. (I buy USB 180's in the 250 round bulk pack.)

Been buying the .40 S&W WWB for two years... always been 165gr. FMJ. Shoots very well in my G-22RTF!

I shop Wally World for my 9mm and .40 Cal FMJ in the 100 round WWB. Sometimes the .40 Cal bullet changes weight, but since I'm punching holes in paper with the FMJ, I don't really care. I'm buying the "price" when I get the WWB.
