Took the one day Glock Armorer's class today and really enjoyed it. It gave me a thorough understanding of how a Glock works and the self confidence to conduct more in-depth maintenance of my Glocks. Well worth the $150.

Where did you take the course at? Did you have to drive to Smyrna? Or was it local?

:wow: Wow!
And all in only one day, too! Makes me feel like I've, somehow, wasted the last 8 years of my life. 'Whoop de doo' is right! :crying:

Can anyone take an armorer's class or do you have to have a referral?
Can anyone take an armorer's class or do you have to have a referral?
A non-LE can take the course if they work for a Glock retailer or become a GSSF member.

AND if the specific course isn't tagged as an LEO-only one (there are a few that are apparently set up that way).

I take one in Sarasota FL in a couple of weeks, looking forward to it.
How many people Glock Armorers are out there and does passing the course certify one as such?

A bunch.
and does passing the course certify one as such?
Passing the course by Glock Professional, Inc. (@ $150) does certify 'you' as an armorer, whereby you are authorized to perform repairs and purchase parts directly from the factory.
Passing a course from a 3rd party, such as the Front Sight Glock armorers course (@ $500), does not certify you as a factory armorer.
