G19 Gen 4 Guide Rods

Student is planning to purchase a (NIB) Gen 4 G19.

How can a purchaser know if the pistol has the "new" (lighter) springs or the "original" (heavier) springs ................ isn't there some sort of stamping on the guide rods ??
