Crack dealer
According to the dude I just talked to at Impact (Brandon), they do not have any Pro's in stock.
Another early Pro for sale we all missed...

Dude posted it and it was gone in 15min. Sweet price too.
Should open up an FFL & sell used/new Pro's exclusively :rofl:Seems to be the hot commodity these days.

I may have to end up buying a Pro. They seem to be on everyone's list nowadays. :)
The problem is that I never really felt the need, since I have the TGO. :dunno: There isn't a whole lot of difference between them, other than sights, finish, and cosemetics.
I really just don't get why everyone goes apeshyt when these go up for sale. They are neat, but not the end all be all by any means.

There is one major three letter difference.

You could always just have someone build you a pro with better features (or buy it from someone who did) and then take some DRC woodpile pictures... :whistling:

:faint:...well, I'm sure someone just did.
I merely mentioned I might sell mine and got 6 PM's here. I don't know if I can fight the temptation or not.

I can't believe I waited 8 months so far to buy one considering my last springfeild ran so bad it had to go in twice to factory. But I figured I would try one , and see if it will shoot as well as my other Semi customs if not it should be easy to dump and maybe even come out not losing
Yes I know spring fields 1911 are the best and never have any problems

It's a great platform but at their current price point and especially..... wait.... there are significantly better options.
Per SACS...the DEA has been snatching up the Pro's lately, that's why the wait has increased.
I disagree that there are better 1911's than the PRO. IF you are looking for a "combat" 1911. The only pistol I've liked better is the Baer Monolith Heavy. And that preference is based on how I use a pistol. If I knew I was going into a "hot" situation I'd pick the Pro over anything I've owned. I've owned several full customs and quite a few semi-customs. Among them Wilson CQB, Clarks, several Baers, several Colts, Para, 10X, several Springfields other than the Pro, Kimbers, AMT, and many more that do not come to my feeble memory at the moment. If you need a no frills, hard use 1911 for combat that has a good trigger, impeccable accuracy, great reliability - to bet your life on. The Pro is it. In my feeble opinion. It is a "balls to the wall" 1911. However, I'm not in combat, or dirt, or mud, or fighting for my life. I'm going to an indoor range mostly and playing. I SLIGHTLY prefer the Mono as it has a better trigger and is a little more fun to shoot. The Pro is not a good 1911, it is a great combat 1911. And worth every penny they sell for. Just my opinion.
"IF" I was looking for a "combat" 1911, I'd prefer one with no MIM. ESPECIALLY if I was paying ~$2600 for it.... and ESPECIALLY if it had to wait a year for it. JMO.
I'd also like a higher cut on the front strap.

Same here. I would love to have one, don't get me wrong, but there are a few things I would like to change, and a Pro is a Pro. Period.

Yeah, niether the Pro or the TGO have a tight radius under the trigger guard.

Ditto.
And no Ambi safety.
And ditto. That's why a Custom Carry would fit the bill better for me over the Pro. And of course, it would have to have a flush crowned barrel and be hardchromed.:whistling:

Sorry but I'll stick to my Rock River Tacticals. One Govt and one Commander. True Combat 1911s and there not even associated with the F.B.I.
if you don't like the spec's of the Pro, just order a Custom Carry to your spec's, that's all the Professional is (Custom Carry built to the FBI's spec's)
The Custom Carry is a great choice IF you don't mind it failing to work out of the box
SACS just hate's you, that's all :tongueout:
I have to say, that acronym is troubling. I hope there are no sacs that like me.

I'm pretty sure Sporting Arms keeps a couple PROs on order most of the time, they are great people to deal with too.
